Hi, my name is Lena. I’m a NY/NJ based user experience designer. My daily job is unlocking the full potential of a business. I’m motivated by creating products that truly elevate user experience from the heart.
Growing up in Shenzhen, China, and having been living in NY/NJ for 9 years, I’m always surrounded by various culture, environment and people. I like to observe people’s behaviors and the way they approach things, talk to each other, or use technology. Curiosity enables me to think critically of the ordinary phenomena happening around.
I’m a good listener. For me, listening to user stories is crucial for discovering and solving real-life problems. By documenting how a user changes in different stages of my project, I’m able to tell if my product truly improves their life.
My UX practice originated from my interest in brand strategy design. Before 2021 I worked as a freelance graphic designer on branding and packaging projects. I enjoy building and enhancing brand identity with research and user studies.
